A Bit About Us


Dennis W. is a New York floral designer that is well versed in all styles of floral design.
I have worked the upper east side of Manhattan for nearly 35 years innovating floral design concepts for weddings, parties, personal flowers and interior floral design.

I started in the floral business in 1972, by 1974 I was designing for Ethel Rogers and Pam DuVal on Madison ave.
Designed for Beatrice Mann at the Hampton House on Central Park South and with Richard Salome on Lexington ave.

I always pride myself in my work and chose to work with some of the best that New York had to offer.

I look to take on jobs that offer a challenge, in both design concept and in the technical aspects of it's design.

In 1999, I had semi retired to learn web site design and the concepts of what the web world had to offer. I opened Flowers in Motion.com and started booking weddings and parties from the website.

Since then I have sold that domain and have reopened my new website under a new domain Florals in Motion.com where I will offer the same high end design, that will ease your transition from being singled to being married. And beyond.

Currently

I split my time between Manhattan and Huntington LI, NY where I book weddings, parties, interior floral design projects and special events.
We cover the Tri state area for any event you may have.

We offer wire service for world wide floral delivery, local delivery and Wedding and Party services in the Tri State area.
If you have your own vase, bring it in and we'll work with you to achieve the design you are looking for.
Manhattan Hours:
9:00 to 5:pm Monday through Saturday except for extended Holiday Hours.
Huntington Hours:
9:30 to 6:pm Monday through Saturday except for extended Holiday Hours.

Minimum arrangement orders start at $50.00, plus tax and delivery.
